Schwinn Campus Electric Bicycle (Men's model)

The Schwinn Campus Electric Bike is for the affordable / student audience with a 21-speed Shimano drivetrain for accurate shifting performance, and a 24V, 180 watts continuous; 250 watts max electric hub motor in the front wheel, controlled by a throttle on the handlebar which can propel the bike up to 18 mph. Available range from the easily removable lithium-ion battery on the rear rack is rated at 40 - 60 miles per charge, depending on wind, terrain and load, and takes 4 hours to recharge.

Schwinn Protanium lithium battery Super-light Protanium® Lithium battery pack
Schwinn's choice for battery power is the Protanium® lithium polymer battery, claiming to be the lightest and most durable on the market weighing in at a little over 4 pounds,. One charge will last 40 - 60 miles.

The size, weight and convenient positioning of the Schwinn Protanium® battery gives the rider a battery they can charge, insert and forget about. Like other lithium-ion batteries, it charges fully in less than 4 hours and provides 100% power to the motor until the point when the battery is fully depleted. The Schwinn Protanium® battery will last approximately 500 - 600 charge cycles at 100 percent output. 24 volt Lithium battery charger included.
