It not just faster and better looking, this electric scooter is much safer than the other Asian imports currently on the market.All our Oxygen electric scooters are DMV-friendly and come fully-loaded with DOT approved components, full instrumentation, plus mirrors and turn signals to complete the package. The Oxygen scooter frame is made of rock-solid, corrosion-protected tubular steel, not cheaper, softer aluminum. The motor and drive mechanism are enclosed and the batteries are positioned at the rider's feet to provide a lower center of gravity (CG) for confident maneuvering and sudden stops. Electric Cyclery currently has a limited amount of Oxygen Lepton-E electric scooters modified to work with easily replaceable sealed-lead acid (SLA) batteries.
