The Bionx
electric conversion kit
turns the Montague
Crossover DX into high-speed street machine with
a range of up to 60 miles and top speeds in the low 20s.
The
result of this union is an electric bike that folds for easy transport
and weighs in at only 41.8 lbs - extremely light for an electric
bike. A 36-volt Lithium-Ion battery pack is mounted
down low on the frame providing the perfect center of gravity
for balanced riding in the dirt or on the pavement. This is an
exceptional folding electric bike that is delivered fully-assembled
and ready to ride. The Bionx / Montague DX is available only from
Electric Cyclery in Laguna Beach.

Montague Folding Integrated Technology (F.I.T.™):
Montague's patented seat tube folding system preserves
the structural integrity and inherent strength of traditional
bicycle geometry. Unlike other folding bikes, there are
no wobbly hinges and no structural tubes cut in half.
Quick
Release Folding: No tools are needed to fold
and unfold the X-Series™ Bike. Just open one quick
release lever on the top tube and remove the front wheel.

Bionx
electric bike motor conversion kit is reliable,
lightweight and offers a range of up to 60 miles to a charge.
The standard system includes a control console, a battery
and a motor. The control console includes a multi-functional
odometer, four assistance levels, four generative settings
as well as a battery charge indicator.
Four
power-assist levels: A patented strain gauge allows
the Bionx motor to measure the rider's effort and boost
the thrusting power.
Four regenerating levels: The battery can
be recharged while riding downhill or while braking.
Weather-proof: The motor is completely
sealed so you can ride your bicycle in the rain and a thermal
protection system prevents any overheating.

non-profit promoting the bicycle as a safe
and accessible form of transportation, fostering
healthy urban communities and providing a
welcoming space to learn about building, maintaining
and riding bicycles. When Electric
Cyclery builds a Bionx Montague Swiss Bike,
the original rear wheel is left over. On
check out, customers can choose to ship the
extra wheel in a separate box for an additional
$15 or donate it to the Bicycle Kitchen at
no cost.

but need to be
registered as motorized bicycles using DMV form REG
230. The Bionx PL500 is currently
not street legal in the United States outside of California.
