The Control Console controls four assistance
levels. The analog display indicates power supplied
by the battery.
Re-Generative: The analog display
indicates energy transmitted to the battery. The
console includes a multifunctional odometer
that displays the following information:

The
console includes an alarm system with
a 4-digit PIN (personal identification number).
When the alarm system is activated, two wheel
turns are enough to set it off. From that moment,
the motor goes into generative mode 4 and the
alarm sounds.

The
Bionx Motor is efficient.
The Bionx system is powered by a lightweight,
zero maintenance motor. It is equipped with
magnetic field drive technology and there is
no friction inside the motor, thus no wear.

Motor Installation
Every kit includes a wheel with the motor spoked
in so the Bionx power system can be installed
on most bicycles simply by replacing the rear
wheel of your bicycle with the BionX wheel and
wheel motor.
The
BionX system can be installed on a tandem, folding
bike, recumbent, recumbent trike - basically
any bicycle with an 9-speed rear derailleur
or smaller. |
 Optional Integrated Rear Battery Rack
Having trouble fitting your battery on the water bottle mounts? The Bionx rear rack battery is the perfect solution. Installing the Bionx battery under the rack is a good option when your bike frame does not allow for a low and center battery installation. This innovative design also includes an integrated tail light system for improved safety and visibility while leaving the top and sides of the rack available for cargo.
The Bionx Rear Rack Battery is now available for the PL350 and PL500 Bionx motor kits for an additional $100. The rear rack option also includes a 6 / 12 volt accessory plug that can power your laptop, cell phone, or even 110 volt appliances if the Bionx battery is used with a DC-converter. |
